Why Patients Choose
Live Better
Be Stronger
Care that's built around you—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
Every person who walks through our doors has different goals, different challenges and a different story. That's why we take the time to understand how you move, what matters to you and what will best support your recovery.
Our approach combines evidence-informed osteopathy, hands-on treatment, rehabilitation and practical advice to help you move with confidence and stay active for the long term.
Evidence-Informed Care
Your care is guided by the best available evidence, our clinical experience and your individual goals. We focus on treatments and rehabilitation strategies that are appropriate for your needs.
Exercise Prescription
Exercise can play an important role in recovery. Where appropriate, we'll prescribe practical exercises that support healing, improve strength and mobility, and help reduce the likelihood of future problems.
Experienced Clinicians
Our university-qualified osteopaths bring experience across osteopathy, rehabilitation and allied health. We work with people of all ages and activity levels—from everyday aches and pains to sporting injuries and performance goals.
Individualised Care
No two people are the same, so neither are our treatment plans. Every assessment, treatment and rehabilitation program is tailored to your symptoms, goals and lifestyle.
Hands-On Treatment + Rehabilitation
When appropriate, we combine hands-on osteopathic treatment with rehabilitation and movement coaching. Our goal isn't just to help you feel better today—it's to help you build lasting resilience and confidence in how you move.
Clear Communication
We believe understanding your condition is an important part of recovery. We'll explain what we've found, discuss your options and answer your questions, so you can make informed decisions about your care.
BEYOND TREATMENT
Treatment doesn’t end when you leave the clinic
Recovery is about more than reducing pain. It’s about building strength, improving capacity and returning to the activities that matter to you.
We integrate rehabilitation and exercise to help you move better, build resilience and reduce the risk of future injury.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Osteopaths assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions that affect muscles, joints, nerves and movement. Common reasons people see an osteopath include back pain, neck pain, headaches, shoulder injuries, hip pain, sporting injuries and work-related aches and pains.
Treatment may include hands-on techniques, exercise rehabilitation, education and practical advice to help reduce pain, restore movement and improve long-term function. At Live Better Be Stronger, we focus on helping you understand your condition and giving you the tools to stay active beyond the treatment room.
-
No. Osteopaths are primary healthcare practitioners, which means you can book an appointment without a referral.
Some patients are referred by their GP, specialist, physiotherapist or another healthcare provider, but it isn't necessary. If we believe you would benefit from additional investigations or another healthcare professional, we'll discuss this with you and work collaboratively with your healthcare team.
-
In most cases, yes. Osteopathy is covered by many Australian private health funds under Extras cover. The amount you receive back depends on your individual policy.
We offer HICAPS for on-the-spot claiming, allowing eligible patients to claim their rebate immediately after their appointment. If you're unsure about your level of cover, we recommend contacting your health fund before your visit.
-
Your first appointment usually takes around 45–60 minutes and begins with a detailed discussion about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle and goals.
We'll then perform a thorough physical assessment to understand how your body is moving and identify the factors contributing to your symptoms. If appropriate, treatment may include hands-on therapy, movement assessment, rehabilitation exercises and advice to help you manage your condition.
Before you leave, we'll explain our findings, answer your questions and provide a clear treatment plan tailored to your goals.
-

Every person is different, so treatment is based on a thorough assessment rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. Our aim is not only to reduce pain but also to improve movement, restore confidence and help reduce the likelihood of future problems through education and rehabilitation.

The number of appointments varies depending on your condition, your goals and how long you've been experiencing symptoms.
Some people improve within one or two visits, while others recovering from more complex injuries may benefit from a longer rehabilitation plan. We aim to provide the minimum treatment necessary and will regularly review your progress so you understand exactly why further appointments are recommended.
-
Yes. Osteopathy is considered a safe form of healthcare when provided by a registered osteopath.
All osteopaths in Australia are registered with the Osteopathy Board of Australia and regulated by AHPRA. Treatment is tailored to your individual needs, medical history and comfort level. Before beginning any treatment, we'll explain our findings, discuss your options and ensure you're comfortable with the proposed approach.
If we identify signs that require medical investigation or fall outside our scope of practice, we'll refer you to the appropriate healthcare professional.
